Imperial Palace Museum
As the most important museum and tourist sight in Beijing, the Imperial Palace Museum was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1987. In 2006, SYMA was invited to conceive and build two new halls: the Wedding Hall and Longevity Hall of Qianqing Gong Palace.

Red was naturally used as the major color for lanterns, carpet and ceiling, to characterize the place where the emperor lived and handled state affairs. As the official Imperial color in ancient China, yellow was used to emphasize inspiring decoration items such as stylized clouds on the ceiling, as well as tributes and lighting for valuable relics. The long-sized halls with numerous treasures portray the luxurious, noble and mysterious Imperial Chinese lifestyle.
