In order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of oil exploration in Huabei Oil Field, the company commissioned SYMA to reconstruct its previous museum in Renqiu City, Hebei Province. The engineering started from March, 2005. In October of the same year, a completely new museum opened to the public.

The museum covers 2000 m2, divided into five areas: Entrance Hall, Science and Technology, Exploration, Development and Refinery. The Entrance Hall was tiled with shining marble, which left a brilliant impression on visitors from when they first arrived. Glasses and silver ceiling panels were used in all rooms, with blue lights. The museum vividly portrayed to visitors a striving history of the success achieved by Huabei Oil Field.
